Held for spam checking??

Hi All,

I just submitted a couple of sites - on redirection I was given a page stating that they could not resolve some such and that the submission would be held for spam checking.

What exactly causes this - I'm sure I never had this problem before when submitting - and will this hold up the possibilty of my sites being accepted.

Cheers

It may affect the TIME it takes to review: if it does, it might speed up review but would more likely delay it a bit.

It should NOT affect the PROBABILITY of being listed.

Thanks for the heads up - still unsure why I should be redirected to this page - previously when submitting pages I was redirected to a page thanking me for my submission.

Anyway many thanks for your reply.

Certain settings in your browser, or at the ISP can trigger it.

Don't worry about it. The submissions are automatically put into a separate category with a note as to where you originally tried to submit it to. Someone reviews those, deletes the obvious chaff and then forwards the gems on to where they should have gone in the first place.

Thanks Giz,

I guess it has something to do with my ISP - last time I submitted without any probs, I think I was using a different ISP.

I only hope that the reviewer considers my sites to be gems rather than chaff :)
