Hello, Add My Site!

I am tired of waiting to add my site. Do search engins work as well, or is there a difference. Not having my Wholesale Merchandise site is like loosing money. Time is Money. Get to work! Fix this problem!! Is somebody getting paid for doing Nothing?

Worse. Nobody is being paid to do anything.
You better read the FAQ, the threads marked as announcement and the guidelines over at DMOZ.

We are all volunteer editors and none of us are paid for any of the time we spend working on the ODP. As has been explained many times, the technical problems are being addressed by AOL staff, who are most unlikely to read this forum.
When the problems have been fixed, you are welcome to suggest your site for a volunteer to review, but as you can read in the FAQ there is no time frame for this, and no guarantee that your site will be listed at all. I'm sorry that you feel this downtime is costing you money, but that belief seems to be based on a number of misunderstandings which would be corrected by reading the public ODP documentation and the FAQ here.

Chita, many of us are making holiday plans. You can probably figure on the ODP not accepting site suggestions until next year, and make your own plans accordingly.

If I were you, I'd plan for the possibility of my site never being listed; you can score it yourself against my canonical list of indicators, but it doesn't look promising.

The indicators aren't perfectly reliable, but they're accurate enough that when they differ from my own impression of a site I review -- well, I double check my review, not the indicators.
