Does any editor in world/bosanski does anything, does any exsist, since I can't notice any change for very long time, and I don't believe that there is not submissions.

Yes, we have editors there. None of them are paid. All are volunteer, and they may edit in other areas of the directory as well.

Even if there were no submissions, that wouldn't mean they couldn't go and find sites to list. Sometimes we find listable sites faster doing searches on the search engines that we do looking in our pile of submissions.

The fact that the directory isn't growing as quickly as you would like probably indicates that these editors are busy doing other things. It does not indicate abuse.

I respect the fact that they are not paid and that they might be busy elsewhere, but it'd be nice to receive answer sometimes, or even to accept new editors if they are to busy.

I put this post in this category, because in appropriate category (non-English) I'm not getting any answer.

OK, we have lots of issues here.
  1. Most of our editors don't visit Resource Zone, at least not on a regular basis and probably not enough of us visit the Non-English Forum. I didn't expect to find anything I could read there. The languages I can read well all have their own forums.

  2. Many editors don't reply to e-mail. It seems cruel, I know, but there are several good reasons which have been mentioned in other threads here at Resource Zone

  3. I don't speak Bosnian, so I can't judge how well the editors who work there speak it. It's true it may not be their mother tongue. I don't know.

  4. Obviously we are accepting editors to the category, or we wouldn't have any. However, it may be easier to get an English category. We certainly have more people qualified to review English applications.

We do have a forum here for questions about applying to become an editor if you want to pursue that question any further.

  5. Since this question is in English, you could have posted it in General ODP Issues - I'm not complaining, just tell you. I really believe Non-English is supposed to be for threads "in languages other than English, Danish, Dutch, French, Finnish, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish, or Swedish."

You would have gotten a quicker response if you had posted in General ODP Issues - just so you know for next time you have a question.
