Hello. Can I have my site submitted?

Hello. I am not sure if this is in the right thread. But I wish to have my site submited in the directiry.

The url is [url removed] also if anybody has a great sugestion on the right category as I understand that it will get submitted quicker??!!??

To avoid confusion, perhaps we should have posted a prominent thread saying something like: "Note: These threads are NOT for Submission Status!"

Actually, from the sounds of those last couple of threads, we need a blinking, rainbow-coloured, scrolling marquee of a thread that says "Please do not post here asking for an editor to suggest your site for you. Wait until the suggestion form is working again and then do it yourself."

And maybe one of those little word trails that follows the mouse around, saying "And while you are waiting, please read the FAQ."

Tough crowd...LOL. I'm not sure how long the system has been down but I've been watching for a while myself. People are anxious to get into the ODP. I guess that's a compliment to everyones hard work, that's a good thing

Thank you for seeing the joke.
The point is that it has only been a day or two since volunteers once again had access to the directory, and as you can imagine there is an awful lot to do in terms of clearing out dead sites, adding all the ones we found while we couldn't edit, catching up with unfinished improvements, and lots of other important tasks.
We honestly don't know when the public scripts mentioned in the Announcement will be fixed, but at the moment we have plenty to do in terms of building and improving the directory.
