Hello there, I'm a newbie here too as I only joined yesterday. Maybe we can try to figure things out together. :)

Hello

Hi Mistress and dotcommakers. I'm also new, well, three weeks new. There sure is a lot of free information here. There are also a lot of crybabies that can't get listed fast enough in ODP.

I'm fairly new myself. crslethem, if you get just a few more customers from it, I would think it would be worth it. I'm hoping to get my other site in!

4 years to get listed

Hi crslethem, It took 4 years for me to get listed. It would be great if an editor could send you a rejection note after viewing your site. You would know that someone looked at the site and it needed to be revamped. This forum lets you check on the statis of your submission. That's a big help.

There are many, many threads that discuss this: the bottom line is that the idea is not being actively considered as it give too much information to the spammers and directory abusers.

Please try to avoid bumping year-old threads like this.
