In the past I was in a wrong category in a wrong city,, I tried to update and I got removed from the wrong category but I was not placed in any other to replace, a few weeks ago I submitted again ( http://www.divinemoving.com )
could you tell if it went through??

Could you please provide more information? We need a clickable link to the the category that you were listed in and the category for which you wish to be moved. Thank you.

Added: And perhaps a kind Moderator could move this to the proper forum.

You can check back here in six months, if you don't see the site listed by then.

I read the faq but I can't figure out if I need to submit again, I read in a few different posts that it's recommended to submit again after a month or two if you don't see your site...so since I waited 6 months and nothing had changed maybe I should post again? what's in the past is past?
any suggestions on how to proceed from here? again I was on the odp but when I tried to update the info I got cut off completely

This the reason I ask...I never took you words out of content
in the last 6 months while I was waiting there was no submission of any kind,
I only did the update since my site was placed in a wrong category in a wrong state. and since than we are waiting,

1) your site is waiting review
2) and don't submit any more

With the amount of suggestions being made for this site in the past any more suggestions will be seen as spam and might get you, this site and all others sites you might be involved with to be banned.

I have no problem with that... last time I was told to check back in 6 months and so I did... I guess it will take much longer than that...

The six month thing as an artifical time constraint we had to put in while we were still giving status checks. Some people were beinbg ridiculous in the frequency with which they were demanding our attention.

It really has nothing to do with how long it takes for us to review a given submission; those timelines vary wildly by category, and are impossible to predict.

Don't guess how long it will take. Needless despair or pointless frustration are the only possible consequences (depending not on whether but on in which direction your guess is wrong.)
