I am trying to choose a category for the website www.AllAboutPopularIssues.org . I have been reviewing categories for over an hour and the only category that I see that might work is http://dmoz.org/Society/Issues/ . However, when I finally decided to go ahead and submit, this message was on the submit page:

"Important Notes - Please Read:
Failure to submit to the proper category will entail significant delay in the review of your site.

Please do not submit your site here unless it is a very deep site with lots of content that covers virtually every major issue."

The site I want to submit has many topics but doesn't have an article on every major issue. It does have over 100 pages on multiple issues such as, abortion, stem cell research, cloning ethics, etc.

What do you suggest? I am concerned...I really want to get this website included in DMOZ.

Thanks for your help.

OK, don't worry about "getting the site included in DMOZ". Any decision you base on that will be the wrong one -- for the surfers and for your hopes.

Focus on providing a site that will allow surfers to find what they are interested in. In "issues" categories, we could categorize by topics or by viewpoint or by source. The more clearly you articulate your focus, the easier it will be for us to place the site -- whether it's "The_Site about all aspects of the quartodeciman controversy" or "The_Ramifications of the Big-Endian Philosophy on all possible matters" or "All the subjects I'm personally interested in".
