I'm sorry for my off-topic.. I work on website promotion, and not much time ago I submitted it to dmoz.org (please do not think that I want to ask about the status!!!) But there was no reply yet. I have studied FAQ and RZ topics all over and I know perfectly that I cannot do anything to make the submission faster. But my boss does not want to believe me, he thinks that I can do everything but do not do. Every day he asks me: "Why are we not in the dmoz directory now?" "When will we be in dmoz?" Every day I tell him the same thing, that I don't know, and neither I nor dmoz editors can promise anything, and then quarrel follows. I want to ask anyone (editors or someone else), could you please write to him and tell him that the only way is to wait?..
His name is -
His e-mail: -
Thank you very much =)

It would be better if you got him to look at this forum and ask his questions here.

I'd caution any editor that it would be extremely imprudent (verging on insane) for an ODP volunteer editor to respond to something like that -- giving any personal information such as an e-mail address -- to a person with habits such as have been described. The ODP guidelines are the way they are because of bitter experience with other, um, quarrelsome parties.

If he will not trust and believe you -- someone whom he apparently was willing to employ -- why should he possible believe and trust a stranger (editor) who won't even identify himself/herself other than with a "handle"?

You probably have a serious problem, since it's almost certain that if and when the site is listed on ODP, the next question will be: "Why are not making lots of extra money now that we are listed"

E-mail him, and point these locations to him (the most active forums in this moment) :

Webmasterworld - The best thread for him to read.
Digitalpoint. (includes poll with people's experience).
V7N - opinions on the watiing time and others.

And tell him that you do now own DMOZ, and you depend on a 3rd party, e.g. the editor. You have no control whatsoever, and you can only TRY to get his website in DMOZ, if it meets the editorial guidelines.
