Help - My site will not index

My company is Fastlane Transportation. My site is www.fastlanetransportation.com.

My site will not index on Google or Dmoz. My site has indexed and ranks well on Yahoo, MSN, Jeeves, etc. My first site submission to Google was 7 months ago. I also use Google Adwords, mainly to increse my chance in getting indexed.

I have had the company that built my site and a number of SEO companies view my site to resolve this problem - no luck.

Any ideas?

There's no problem.

There's no way to manipulate search engines, submittals, forums, or advertising systems to increase your chance of being listed, so it's not surprising you didn't find one.

What do you mean, "could not find one"?

I don't want to manipulate my ranking. I just want to be indexed on Google and Dmoz. If you were to type www.fastlanetransportation.com or www.fastlanetransportation/index.html on either site, they would show no record of me. Even though I have manually submitted my site to these companies. Even though I'm listed on many other sites. I pay thousands of $'s per month on Google Adwords and Overture.com, but Google and Dmoz still show no record of Fastlane Transportation in their indexing. I show up all over the place on 'sponsored sites'.

I would think that I would list eventually if my site is OK.

First of all: this forum is only about DMOZ. We have totaly no influence on Google and can not answer questions about your site (not) being listed there.
To understand the possibilities of being listed in DMOZ you could start reading the FAQ here at R-Z.
As you have stated you have suggested your site to DMOZ, that is all you can do. Someday (and nobody can predict when that will be) an editor will review your site ande decide if it is listable. You can check yourself if it is listable or not by reading the DMOZ guidelines at http://dmoz.org/guidelines/ .

If it is the Google directory, not the search engine bit, then of course we supply the data for that so not being listed in the directory would point at DMOZ as being the cause.

It looks like a simple misunderstanding about DMOZ. It doesn't work like a search engine, there are no robots to spider and index the site. Only unpaid volunteer humans who review the site completely uninfluenced by any SEO techniques and tricks. Only a relatively small percentage of sites submitted qualify and are listed and the process can take from a day or two to several years or more. There are no guarantees if or when the site might be reviewed or listed.
