Help! Our oldURL listed in DMOZ hosts a PORN Site!

Dear Sirs,

Please Help!
Our old URL currently listed in DMOZ directory, synel-ind.com,, has been acquired by someone, who placed a disgusting pornographic site on it (see www.synel-ind.com).

Our company - Synel Time and Attendance Systems is a well established and respectable company, dealing with time and attendance applications ( www.synel.com ).

About 10 days ago, according to ODP submission guidelines
i submitted URL and Category changes for Our website -
Synel Time and Attendance Systems, as follows:
URL -
old: http://www.synel-ind.com
new: http://www.synel.com

Old Category:
http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Security/Products_and_Equipment/Access_Control/

New Category (the right one for our website):
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Human_Resources/Time_Keeping_Systems/

I also changed the description of our website
(the old one submitted about 3 years ago, didn't describe properly our company's main and up-to-date product lines and solutions).

Can you help us please to change our listing in DMOZ
directory as described above as soon as possible.

Two issues here:

1) The porn hijack. That's an emergency, and I've changed the URL.

2) A shift in emphasis of the business, resulting in a possibly better fit in another category. Without editing or professional knowledge of that industry, I'd rather leave that to someone else's judgment.

Now what you can do is submit an "update URL" request on your NEW URL in the OLD category (as it is currently listed) with comments about why it's a better fir for the other category.

Regarding category and description changes, as you can see i've done this request with my URL change submission about 10 days ago.
I don't understand, should i do it again?

Sorry, but yes, do it again.

The previous update request is to a URL no longer present in the database. There's no guarantee that the editor will connect it with the new URL.
