Help with choosing category for cell tower site

I have submitted a site (and have not received an answer one way or the other in over a month) to Business/Telecommunications/Equipment/Wireless/Towers/Manufacturers named www.Steelintheair.com but believe that the category is not the correct one for my submission. The other sites within the category are for actual fabricators of the tower.

The other categories are for Management, Lighting, and Installation and Maintenance, categories which the site clearly does not fit well into either.

I provide consulting services for landowners who have been approached by wireless companies to place towers on their property and who need assistance with negotiations. I also provide consulting services for landowners who have a cell tower lease and wish to sell the lease income or renegotiate the lease when it expires.

I also considered submitting for Business/Telecommunications/Consulting/Wireless but am not sure that this is the appropriate category either as almost all deal with consultants who assist other telecommunications companies.

Is there another category that I am missing that would be suitable? Should I suggest a new category that could encompass my site and some others that are oriented towards the landowner and not the industry?

Thanks for your review of my lengthy request and for the ODP.

I would have submitted to http://dmoz.org/Business/Telecommunications/Equipment/Wireless/Towers myself but the editor who eventually reviews your site will move it to the appropriate area for it.

And you won't. Editors rarely contact site owners to let them know that a suggestion has been accepted or rejected.

Better to suggest a new category or let editor decide?

Thank you for the timely response.

Is it better to suggest a new category or to let the editor decide? The current categories are clearly set up for business vendors which I understand fully. However, on other search engines, my site and some others like it would also fall into a "Reference" category on Wireless Towers?

Thanks,

Ken

"Reference" is a category name sort of like "Resource" (or "Website"). We avoid it because it means nothing. But naming the category is the editor's problem.

The best way to suggest a new category is to submit a half-dozen sites that clearly define it.
