Help with the help of DMOZ

May be I am wrong

As DMOZ is a volunteer organisation. That means the people who are working for all are with the devotion of helping human beings.

I think they should start a plan to help financially world over poor, needy students.

What do you think all and if my suggestion hit your mind then what method should be used for accomplish this great plan:icon_ques

Who is "they"? AOL? The volunteer editors? Why? Why should "they" start a plan to financially help anyone? And why poor, needy students? Why not poor, needy non-students? Or why poor, needy anything? What about conservation efforts or disease/disorder support and awareness or disaster relief or any number of other worthy causes?

We actually do all of that, and much, much more!

By providing a global directory of websites we help provide a conection between those who need help, and those who can offer help; also between those organizations who help the needed, ill and infirm, and those that can provide those organizations with resources, and finally, we connect those who wish to volunteer their time for the common good with those who need volunteer in order to accomplish their goals.
