Help?

I applied to be a dmoz editor and like a lot of people was rejected first time round.

My question is I was very honest with the websites I am involved and feel I might have been rejected for Self-Promotion, as I do own the name of the species in one of the two categories I applied.

I accept this is a valid point, though in certain ways I hoped to bring my experience to dmoz.org in my chosen sections.

Any advice would be appreciated as to if I should reapply.

You are welcome to apply again <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> No problem with that, unless you were an editor before and were removed by meta consensus for unacceptable behavior. Many editors were approved only on their 2nd or 3rd app.
