Hi Cheetuh,

We don't offer status reports here any longer (see this announcement). We also can't tell when your site will be reviewed; it could happen very soon or years from now. (There's some information about that in the FAQ.)

If you sent in a site suggestion you have done all you can to get your site reviewed for an ODP listing -- you can't do anything to hurry the review. If/when it gets listed you'll see it in the directory :)

Thank you, Cheetuh, we appreciate kind comments, :) .

As a further explanation, in the Regional section of the Directory, many localities (towns/villages) don't have editors, but, I'm a state level editor, so I edit in every locality of the state, :) .

If you know you were not accepted you have received a message with a list of common mistakes. One or more of them were applicable for your application. Finding out which and to correct them can be seen as part of the application process. And don't worry, many editors have been rejected once or more.
Have you already read FAQ and General Advice About Becoming an Editor. It can be very helpfull.

Tip: work on you language. Keep in mind that many editors are not native English language speakers and may have problem with your slang (ya, dunno) If you have written your application in the same way (which I doubt) it will instantly be rejected.

Unless that's what the reply you received said, don't presume that that is why you were rejected.

Just as a guess, I'd consider the possibility of idiosyncratic orthography being involved.

Ha, there is a Firefox extension I downloaded specifically for situations just like this one. :)

i guess i was reject cause ...
You don't need to guess because every unsuccessful applicant is sent a letter with the reasons. if you did not receive this, it was probably caught by your spam filter.
The letter contains a list of common reasons, and in addition the reviewer may add more specific comments. So the first step is to carefully read this letter and decide how to do things differently the next time you apply.
The next step is to read the FAQ, Advice and Guidelines linked above - a very useful activity for anyone wanting to become an editor. ;)

Then, when our technical problems are fixed, apply again. Good Luck. :)
