Hi, requeting status for http://www.laiwa.com

Hi,
Could you please inform me of the status of Laiwa.com, it was submitted to the http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Consumer_E...ireless/Cellular_Phones/Accessories/Software/
category last year.
Since it is not listed i assume that there is aither an error in the submission or it has not been accepted. I would appreciate a response in either case.

I can't check the status of that category, but your assumption may be incorrect. The (most likely) possible statuses for a submission are:
1. Not there (error in the submission).
2. Awaiting review in that category
3. Accepted (published) into the directory (you should be able to see it in a few days)
4. Rejected.
5. Moved to another category; try again for 2-5.

Thanks for your reply, still I dont really follow what you say. I actually submitted the site twice last year (Nov - Dec) but read that I should not submit more then once, I would just be placed last in the que. For that reason I am a bit reluctant to resubmit before you tell me that it is neccesary.
I dont understand "try again for 2-5", do you mean 2-5 weeks? If I resubmit will I have to wait for another 2-3 months? How do I know if I am rejected?

I must say I thought the response a little cryptic and had to re read it 3 times.

It is suggesting you ask again, or wait for someone who can actually access the category, to provide the current status, which will be one of the following:
not received/waiting in that category
waiting for review in that category
waiting review elsewhere
declined

sorry for the inconvenience, please don't resubmit until you receive a response from someone who has checked the category.
