Sites may be removed because of hidden text/links. Each site will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Hidden text is important for search engines. DMOZ is a directory.
What is your point? Can't understand wether you're "for" or "against".:)

That information may no longer be true. I believe that under some circumstances, hidden text, if found, and not applicable to the site, could cause rejection. There is no general rule on this.

As stated earlier in the thread. Hidden text and hidden links on a site are handled on a case by case basis. The statement that we used to make about we don't care what the users cannot see because we are a directory is not always true anymore. Times have changed and so have we.
