I submitted hipaa-kit.com for review to http://dmoz.org/Business/Healthcare/Consultancy/ about four months ago and haven't heard anything. Can anyone give me a status on this. I only submitted once.

Your site is awaiting review in that category with over 400 other sites. It *will* be a while before your site is reviewed (I would guess no sooner than 2 months).

Is there an editor for that site? Sounds as if that poor editor is up to their ears in site reviews. Is there any way to get the wording from my submission so that I can post to the regional site as well? Or, should I just write a new submission to the regional site?

Is there any point at which the editall editors sound an alarm and say we need to help this poor editor out?

Generally speaking, if you see that an editor has gone and reviewed a site that someone was inquiring about here, they've also gone in and cleaned up the whole queue for that category (or tried to, so as to not be playing favorites). 400 is a really big queue.

RE: submitting to Regional -- I would just go ahead and write a new submission to the Boynton Beach, FL, category.

The alarm has already been sounded - the entire Business Tree is under reorganization. Part of this is clearing out duplicate submissions, something that is actively being done right now. As far as sites being listed in Business goes, actual review times are impossible to estimate, but they will happen eventually.
