How can I check where I posted?

I posted My site at least a month ago but I cant seem to find it under a search. It should be under Buisness/employment/recruiters.........I am Ranked #2 on a Yahoo search but cant seem to get this site up on Google. There are websites up there that havent been updated since 1997 and I cant even get on the list....???? Whats up with that?? Should I re submit My site and keep better track of where I submitted it to? or just wait and Hope I worded everything correctly so maybe, someday, someone might look at it and put it where it should be? Why does Google direct you to dmoz to suggest a site..... Either way I submitted it here but im not sure where to check the status...Can you help?

I had not requested further information about my website because I wanted to stay within the guidelines. But since there is a deadline I will give it one last shot (2nd try). 1. Would this mean my wesite wouldnt be indexed?
2. I switched those links from flash and also added text links, does this solve my problem?
3. If I ask nicely, say pretty please or beg would that help to get my site indexed??
