how can I know if I am listed in the directory?

Hello guys! how are you?
I am not a expert in this, so maybe I have a pretty dumb question :S

When I look for my web (www.geocities.com/apuperu) in google.com I can find it, but when I try it in http://dmoz.org I cannot find it. So what that it mean? Am I in the directory?

When I find my web in google.com, it show me a description in the google's cache, and I would like to change that information. Also, I made some changes in my page, so I would like to know what can I do in order I can update my changes in google?

Do you think is neccesary that I submit my web page again?

We can't tell from what you say whether you are in the ODP -- ODP search doesn't always work.

We can't check whether your site has been received, let alone reviewed, unless you tell us what category you submitted it to.

We don't know how Google decides when to pick up changes. It's not our business, but rumor suggests it's fairly automatic, though.

Give us the category and we can check to see whether a re-submittal to the ODP is necessary. (FWIW, rumor says it's almost never necessary at Google.)

Regional > South America > Peru > Travel and Tourism > Lodging
This email is enough or do I have to do anything else?

If you want to know the status of a site you suggested you will have to ask in a proper way. Please read the forum guidelines.

If you want to know if your site is already listed just go to the category in DMOZ and look at the listed sites.

Google's cache has totaly no relation with a site being listed at DMOZ.
But you can use Google to search the whole of DMOZ for your site. Go to their advanced search and limit the search to the domain dmoz.org
