After you suggested a website there are 3 options

1, it is listed - this is something you can see yourself
2. it is rejected - by reading our guidelines you can know if a website will be rejected , see http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/guidelines/include.html
3. if not 1 and not 2 than the suggested website must still be waiting for review

If a site is listed there is no reason to suggest the website again
If a site is rejected there is no reason to suggest the website again
If a site is waiting review there is no reason to suggest the website again
conclusion: there is no reason to suggest a website more than once

Hey Egy. i'm in the same boat you are. I suggested my site over 6 months ago and it still hasn't been accepted. I'm pretty sure I put it in the right category, because I see my competitors in that category, not to mention my site category is pretty obvious. I went through all the guidelines twice, so i'm sure I'm not violating them. I guess all we can do is wait.

I recommended my website over 6 several weeks ago and it still hasn't been approved. I'm fairly sure I put it in the right classification, because I see my opponents in that classification, in addition to my website classification is fairly apparent.

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

As you might have noticed by reading previous answers in this thread (and in many other threads) we do not answer such questions.

No.

You can check for yourself if your website is listable at http://www.dmoz.org/docs/en/guidelines/include.html

If it's listable, we'll list it in time: If it isn't, we won't.
