All websites will get reviewed eventually, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to several years. There is nothing you can do to speed up this process. You can check whether your site was accepted by doing a search for it (just search for the domain name, ie search for dmoz.org instead of
http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games) there is no way of checking whether it was rejected.
There is no need to resubmit your website after a certain amount of time.
