How do I continue a thread?

I am looking to seek submission status and wanted to know how to create a new posting using the old thread. Do I simply hit reply to my old thread?

Yes, anytime you want to bump ( ) a thread you simply reply to it. In fact it is required by the guidelines to keep all posts regarding one url in the same thread vs. creating multiple posts.
