how do I know if I am being penalized for over-submission

I submitted my website in mid-2004, and has not yet not been added to the directory. My company hired a marketing company a few months ago and they resubmitted in multiple categories (unbeknownst to me), and I found out after the fact. How can I find out if this is the reason that my site has not been reviewed / added yet? Thanks.

Well since we no longer provide status reports, you don't.

It takes quite a lot of stupidity to get a website banned. It's far more likely that nobody has got around to reviewing it yet.

Thanks, Jim. That is reassuring. I had read that multiple submissions were just going to have my site penalized. I had submitted a site in the same area and it was added in about a month. I submitted a different site for a different company in the same sector, and it is the better part of a year now, and still nothing. I was just concerned by the time differential.

By the nature of ODP, I expected it, just not the extremity of it. I am sure that my category is backlogged, I guess I just was assuming that because the first was added so quickly that the second would be closer to the same timeframe. I just wanted to make sure that I hadn't slowed the review process down for my site. Thanks again.
