How do I know if my changes are going to be made?

Hi there folks,
I made a mistake whilest adding my site www.security-label.co.uk, (i admit to being a bit thick at times).
Anyway I currently have my site listed in Business: Marketing and Advertising: Advertising: Promotional Products: Lenticular and Holographics
which is great, getting listed is better than not.
However I think that my site would be better suited to another catergory, such as,Top: Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Business and Economy: Printing: Labels
as this better describes my site. I have submitted a change a while ago but so far i have heard nothing and it has not moved.
I am happy with the description and eveything else I have at the moment.
Many thanks for your help.

Change requests are not for moving listings between topical categories and regional categories because many sites are eligible for listing in both regional and topical categories.

If you believe you are eligible for a regional listing, go ahead and make a separate submission, but before you do, heed this: regional listings are based upon where you have a physical presence, not upon where you market, sell, commute or hope to live. So if you do submit to regional, do so at the deepest level possible in the locality where you have your main office.

Location
Southern England
We treat the UK, being a collection of several countries, as a special case. It's fine to submit your website to UK/../Labels and also to Dunbar.

Curious editors wanting more detail might like to read the UK charter editor notes which were written by the Editor in Chief a couple of years ago :).

Hey, ODP is a very big place. We can't all know all the local variations.

Are you suggesting I re-list my site (as in add URL) in the new catergory??

Is it ok to re submit? I am frightened that I may get kicked out for resubmitting my site again, I know that you are only ment to submit once. (I would rather be listed, than not listed).

Yes, we are saying exactly that. consider it a license to resubmit within the bounds defined by Jim's post.

Actually Jim gave you two locations to submit to. You may take his advice. It will not affect the one submission you have already made. You may even be surprised to see that they are listed before the first one. Not a guarantee, just a possibility.
