How do I switch Categories?

My site is posted in the regional areas, which is not descriptive enough for our business. Is there a way to resubmit without going out of the guidelines if our site is already listed with Dmoz? How would I go about making sure my site gets listed in a category that better describes it?

You might want to have a look at http://dmoz.org/guidelines/site-specific.html#multiple which states:

There are a few occasions in which a site could be listed in more than one category.

- Sites that are relevant to a subject category and a specific local geographic area. Many sites can be listed once in a topical branch of the ODP, and once in the Regional category.

Some kinds of businesses -- not all -- are listed in Topical as well as regional categories. If you really draw customers and give service across a multinational (or multi-U.S.-state) area, then a second listing is possible. Submit to the Topical category you think appropriate.

A simple move from Regional to Topical category almost certainly won't happen.
