I have submitted a few sites and had the rejected, so i was browsing through the directory that i submitted them to, and came across this site which was accepted but it seems like a site that was easily be rejected.

because if that site above can make it my business site def. should have been accepted. i could be missing something, so please explain if im wrong, thanks guys.

Good question. That site is so bad by our standards (IMHO) that you wouldn't get into trouble suggesting in our "Dead Sites" thread in the abuse forum.

I can't edit in that category, or it would be gone by now.

It's gone. Thanks for pointing it out. It was listed years ago. Perhaps it was rather different then.

The change may take a day or two to appear on the public side.

That sounded so familiar a URL I thought it might have been me - thankfully not. Actually it isn't too difficult for editors to hit the wrong button and list a site instead of rejecting it. I've done it several times but I hope always realised the mistake and corrected it immediately. It is always good when others, editors or members of the public, spot an error like that and let us know. Thanks for taking the time! :)

That's kind of a scary statement... too easy to hit the wrong button... hope you guys get a confirmation screen or something to avoid rejecting a site that you actually mean to accept. :)
