How long does it take to get listed?

Hello,
I submitted my site for listing over a month ago and I haven't heard anything. Have I fallen through the cracks or is this typical. Obviously, since the Christmas season is coming, I'm anxious to get on the list.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

I have submitted my site in DMOZ before 3 months. But it has not been accepted yet.Any suggestion?

Just like anybody else you will have to wait
Or you could do morfe usefull things. That is for you to decide.
You could also read some of the other threads and answers were people asked questions similar to yours.
