How long for ammendments to propogate

One of the editors has kindly updated one of our listings about six days ago. However, it is still showing the old URL/description. How long do the changes usually take to appear on Dmoz please?

Thanks.

Seconds to minutes.

Obviously, things aren't "as usual" while the server upgrade is going on.

We don't control that process, and we don't know when it will be finished, or how long it will take.

One of the editors said on this forum a month ago that he had updated the URL/description of the site in this category. Our original post is here.

However, it remains the same.

If somebody could please ammend it, it would be much appreciated as the old URL locks the site in a frame with a banner ad I don't want - and the site visitors won't appreciate.

New URL:
http://www.1Lit.com/izetbegovic

Description (additions in bold):
Extract from the magnum opus by the former Bosnian president, Alija Izetbegovic, and online shopping.

Thank you very much. I appreciate it :)

Um, how can I say this?

"We don't control that process, and we don't know when it will be finished, or how long it will take."

Thank you for understanding.

It has been amended on the edit side. It is therefore going to show in the RDF file that downstream users take, and it will show up in search at some point too. Since the public site is still not being updated then it will not showup there until that update happens. There is no known timescale for a fix, as editors are not involved in that. The fix is dependant on other things to do with the upgrade happening first.

It has been another month now and, even worse, our listing has been removed completely!

Nevermind our listing being updated, as was promised, it is not in the category at all!

Very frustrating considering that the gentleman, who is 78, is seriously ill and there is a surge in the number of searches for him.

Thanks in advance for any assistance one of the editors may be able to offer.
