How Long I should wait?

Hi All,

Around one year ago I submitted our Url <url removed> I have submitted site at Top: Regional: Asia: India: Haryana: Localities: Faridabad: Business and Economy: Computers and Internet Catagory.
I am still waiting for approval or any correspondence form OPD's side. Please suggest me what should I do now?

There is no approval/rejection mail nor timeframe for reviewing; if the site isn't listed, the most likely cause is that an editor hasn't had the time to review it yet.
With the recent outage we suffered, it would do no harm to suggest it once more to the most suitable category (which I assume is the one you've located above).

The question is ...

How much time should one have to wait before they
try suggesting their site again? 1 week 1 month 1 year?
Knowing a round about would probably be
very helpful to most submitters as well as not distract
editors from duplicate submissions...

Since you've suggested it twice, there doesn't seem to be any reason to do it again. Suggesting a site which has already been suggested for review will not speed up the review process, and can cause it to take longer (because the date stamp will show the most recent suggestion, and if the reviewing editor looks at sites in the order they were suggested it means yours will be lower down in the list.)

Site suggestions don't go away until they have been reviewed, so there it almost never any point in sending in another suggestion.

(However, you will not be penalised in any way for sending in one more suggestion of the site - I thought I should maybe make that clear )

Thanks for your reply, I am agreed with you, and I did the re-submission after Elper's advice, he is also an editor of Dmoz. Now I am quit confused and waiting for approval of my site. I am waiting for last 1.5 year. Please let me know what to do for getting approval of my site or how long I should wait further?
