I submitted my website http://www.maureenmegowan.com to the DMOZ over 6 months ago, and still have not been added. I have not seen anyone added to the category I submitted to (Regional: North America: United States: California: Localities: P: Palos Verdes Estates: Business and Economy: Real Estate (43) ) for months and am not sure there is currently an editor. My site has much more unique content than almost any of the sites currently listed therefore I can not imagine that I have not been listed because of that. I also can not find anything identifying the editor to this site to find out what is going on. I even submitted a request to volunteer as an editor for this if there was not currently an editor and was rejected apparently because I would have a conflict of interest in editing this site since my competitors are listed on this site. Can anyone help?

In addition, can you only be listed in one category? If I also do business in other cities, can I submit to those localities?

Check out our FAQ for many relevant answers.

As for being listed in one category: for real estate, the answer is fixed. List in the smallest geographical category that contains all the firm's offices, and NOWHERE ELSE.

As a clarification, if your office is in Palos Verdes Estates (not Rancho Palos Verdes, or any of the other Palos Verdes cities), and you are a real estate agent, the category you mention ( http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_Amer...des_Estates/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/ ) is the only category in which you could be listed. It probably wouldn't hurt to resubmit, once, especially if you can produce a title and description which meet our guidelines.
