How many categories does dmoz have?

Where can I find more information about dmoz? I'm curious about how many categories there are and how many editors there are.

The number of editors at the bottom of that page is misleading. That is the number of editors who have contributed since the beginning of the directory.

We seem to be floating between 7,000 and 8,000 active editors right now (last time I asked).
