Hi,
Our site could be listed in many catagories - I'm not sure which one to choose?!
We do graphic design, web-design, interior-design and teaching. Can a site be submitted to more than one category?

Sites of companies that do web design should be submitted only once, in the most appropriate Web-Design category. Mention the other activities in your proposed description. This is a strict guideline, since basically all web design offer some combination of related services.

As a completely separate issue, if the company has a local presence -- if they meet with clients face to face all across southern metropolitan Podunk, New Jersey -- then you can submit to the Locality category (under Regional) where the main office is.

...and if your site is available in a language other than English (and its variants) you can also submit to the appropriate category in http://dmoz.org/World/ - one for each language.

Actually, possibly two in each language, once in the Regional equivalent, and once under the "topical" (other than Regional) equivalent.

Machine translated sites do not apply though. The different language content should be of high translated quality, preferably completely rewritten by a native speaker of said language.
