Any body know how many time to take for dmoz listing?

We don't know.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Hi,

I am new to dmoz.

I want to know that how much time it takes for a website to get listed in dmoz if the website has been entered in the right category?

And also how would I know that my website has been listed in dmoz?????

As for the first part, Jim answered for all. Nobody knows, nobody CAN know.

As for the second part--you'll know your site has been listed just like you know any other site has been listed--when you see it listed.

From the point of view of a listing service, that may sound very odd. But the ODP isn't a listing service, it's a service list. It's not for the owner of the website, it's for everyone else on earth, to help THEM find websites they didn't already know about.

Hey I'm willing to wait, and willing to help
But I have been submitting our site for the last 4 years (seriously) and it still is not listed.
Volunteer is one thing ignoring a request for 4 years, seriously

Given the nature of our volunteer system, where editors choose where, how much, and how often they edit, four years is not unusual. Repeatedly resuggesting your site will not increase its chances of being reviewed by one of those volunteer editors if and when they choose to review suggested sites in that category.
