How to change categories during setup?

I'm new to ODP; that being said, "everything" looks like a landmine!
I'm having a problem in the initial setup page in changing the category for my URL. When I initially selected the category I have now, ODP setup warned that the particular category could not be used for services; however, in "back-paging" my (new) host provider now only says "you've already selected a category for ODP." Unfortunately, if I say to proceed, I am certain ODP referees will call "foul" and I will be placed in the penelty box, as it were.
Can anyone assist this "newbie" out?

Abandon that attempt, and start over at the right category. With so many mass serial-scamming spammers filling the penalty box, there's just not room for people who make one mistake.

Not to mention that there really isn't a penalty box. It's just that nothing in the ODP policies (or anywhere else on earth) says the volunteers have to accept "help" (or any other kind of "communication") from jerks. Think of it more as being "sent to Coventry." (If a brat screams in the forest and there's nobody to hear, does it matter whether he exists?)

Also, remember this: experience says there are two kinds of people. One of them affirms loudly, "I'm an amazingly patient polite person and therefore not bothering you" as he proceeds to systematically inflict every form of coercion he can think of. The other says "I don't want to do anything that might bother, and therefore I won't even do what would be perfectly reasonable (even if everyone did it at once!)"

The former person offends merely by existing, the latter hardly ever offends.
