How to check status on URL change request?

The request has been received and is waiting to be processed.

As (at a quick glance) the existing site is working, and there is no text message or redirect, we wouldn't change the url. Either do a 301/302 redirect, javascript redirect, or place a notice on the site that you are moving to the new url, so that we know it is a valid request.

Thank you!

We put a 301 redirect in our .htaccess file on the server.

I hope this will do!

It would if it worked.
At present there is no redirect on either the www or non www version of your domain name.
Fortunately the update is still waiting.
If the 301/2 redirect is too hard, just put a text message like 'come see our new site at ............' or, 'we are moving to ............... , please update your bookmarks'.

Just so you know, we're not trying to make you jump through a bunch of hoops, this is actually for your protection. Without some sort of firm evidence (on the site) of your intentions, we would not have any way of protecting you from some "lovely individual" who might be trying to hijack your listing.

It's well hidden -- but his (or her) contact page does say:and the link actually does go there.

I think I might accept the update if I looked at it.

[DMOZ hat off] As a web designer, I would think that you could do a better job of directing web traffic. Perhaps using the BASE attribute would cause all links to (say) "contact.html" or "/contact.html" to go to the new address.
