how to contact a category editor?

Hi every one! Thanks in advance to all of those who are readin this post.

I've read that if you can reach your category editor he/she can review your site or make the index of it into dmoz a little bit faster... s that true?...anyway, I ca not find a way to make contact.

I would like to know more about it because I have been waiting 9 months and nothing yet.... well, now I'm reading that that is kind of normal.

I wouldn't have thought that contacting the category editor would help because then everyone would do it and they would get so much spam wasting their time.
