My old site was deleted (for the reason I probably know). In the DMOZ, I was told that I can contact them, how to do that? I don’t have theeir email address…

“If your site was deleted, you may send a polite inquiry to the editor of the category where your site was listed. If there is no editor for the category, you may try to contact an editor higher in the directory tree ... http://dmoz.org/help/search.html”

If you think you know the reason, the simplest and easiest and most effective response is to fix the reason and resuggest the site. In the description you might include comments to the editor in brackets something like this:

Includes content bla bla [Note to editor: site was formerly listed, apparently deleted because bla bla, problem fixed by doing bla bla,...]

Rather than trying to guess which one of several hundred editors might be reviewing suggestions (and when), this note will go to an editor at the very moment he's decided to work on that topic.

Thanks for prompt reply.

The question is I have already made suggestion and didn’t enclose the comment as your post recommended, so I try to sent comment and don’t know how.

I don’t want to make “double submissions” and caused any troubles or misunderstandings…etc. Thanks again.

For obvious reasons I'm not going to say exactly how many repeated submissions it takes to be branded a spammer. But I will say this: The number is larger than two.

Anybody who hasn't spammed us is welcome, even encouraged, to submit a second suggestion if the first one had a mistake.

Yes, you have (sort of) - click the editor name and you´ll find an email-form "Send to editorxyz"... :2cents:
