Hello,
I would like to change the directory where my site is listed, and.. I would like the description altered to reflect more of what I'm selling.

How would I go about doing that?

I would just relist, but it say NOT to relist if you are already listed.

PS. I don't think the editor/s in this perticular section is/are either very good, or honest. I have 5 blankets in my hole site, but they have used "bedding," even though I have 120 dog beds and they don't use "dog beds" at all, in fact, I've given a close look at all the listings, and primary key-phrases are only applied to a very few sites, where-as the others are quite vauge to say the least. I don't believe there are that many bad search engine submitters with-out the knowledge of primary key phrases. I didn't want to believe the stories I've heard about SOME of the editors here bieng currupt, but this certainly gives me pause. I was going to apply as an editor, but if things such as this goes on, I don't think I want to be apart of it.

Go to the category where it's listed.
Click the update listing link at the top of the page.
Fill out the form and state your case.

Update requests are usually handled with a higher priority.

Added - we don't do keywords by the way. The editor is probably following our editor guidelines.

Hi William,

Go to the directory where your site is listed, and click "Update listing" at the top of the screen. Then follow the instructions. Many editors give update requests a high priority but there is no way to know how long it will be before your request is reviewed.

Please note that a description in the ODP is not about keywords or key phrases. Our descriptions are supposed to describe what is on the site, plain and simple; in grammatical, full sentences. In some cases that probably involves "primary key phrases", but most editors will also want to vary their language a bit.

I'm not sure what's supposed to be corrupt about editors not writing in a marketing, keyworded way. If there are incinsistencies, there are half a dozen more likely reasons than editor abuse (old entries not being brought to conform with newer ones, human error, new editors not being sure about how to write descriptions, etc....)
