How to deal with someone posting negative words

How do you deal with someone that is posting everywhere I submit to in directories? He insists on bashing my site. Telling others not to visit mine, but to visit his. Sometimes he signs his name and brags about it, sometimes he just signs his site's name. I have been successful enough to get the sites to erase many of the comments and links, but not all. My site is lawncafe. com and his is lawnsite. com.

These are the two I could find for now. I would say there were about 30-35 that I saw personally. I was able to contact the site owners and get them removed out of many. I am not sure why the immaturity. I am not sure if this is how he thinks he is going to build his site, by attacking and then placing a link to his or what. I have a great sense of humor and when I saw some of what was posted about me and my site, I had to laugh. But, then I saw it was so repetitive, it became apperant that this can not go on anymore. I stopped submitting to directories with a comment feature. Hopefully the owner of lawnsite will come to the realization of his actions.

Well, this is not something we can give advice on.

We have a policy of not commenting on individual sites and avoiding getting involved in any form of disputes between other people.

We can assure you that when sites are reviewed, they are reviewed entirely on their own merits.

This would apply equally to both sites mentioned above.
