How to find out status of submission?

Hello,

Is there any way to find out the status of one's submitted site? I would love to know what I may be doing wrong as to offend the editors. I can't seem to get accepted for some reason

Just read the Forum Guidelines and post the URL of your site in the Site Submission Status forum, together with a clickable link to the category you submitted to...

If a lot of sites are submitted there, the backlog could be quite significant. You wouldn't be the first posting here believing some editors have an axe to grind with you, when there's nothing of the kind...
