As you might have notice. AOL has shutdown DMOZ.
The editor community is trying to get a new directory up and running.
The current copy at dmoztools is just a static copy and no websites can be aded.
We will publish news when things will change.

It is a shame that AOL has shut down DMOZ. I have the same problem, wanted to submit a link. But I cant...

It was a decision by the owner, AOL. We do not know the reasons.

Lord willing, it''ll be back, just under a new name. (Buying the rights to the domain and trademarks would cost several million dollars.)

i noticed sites being submitted to dmoztools how do we get our site added

That can not be true, it is not possible to suggest sites to dmoztools.
