How to make corrections to site waiting for review

I had submitted http://www.worldstonex.com to the following category on Jan 7, 2004: http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Constr...and_Supplies/Masonry_and_Stone/Natural_Stone/

However, it is still waiting for review. I do understand that this is not the thread to check the submission status. My question is this: after I submitted initially I realized the ODP guidelines recommend keeping the Title the same as the site name. I have just now resubmitted my site with the revised title to a new more appropriate category:http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Constr...ne/Natural_Stone/International_Sources/India/

How do I avoid ODP thinking that I am trying to spam by submitting the same URL multiple times?

If you put a suggestion for exactly the same URL into the exact same category, then your submission will have overwrittten the old one, and updated the last submitted date. That isn't a problem.

If you start putting lots of different URLs for the same website into the same category, or the same or related URLs into multiple categories then you might run into a very big problem.

Thanks. So I understand the process to update a URL that I had originally submitted in a category. As I mentioned in my original message, I had initially submitted to the category (http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Constr...and_Supplies/Masonry_and_Stone/Natural_Stone/) which is still pending review. Today I submitted the same URL (http://www.worldstonex.com) to a new category: http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Constr...ne/Natural_Stone/International_Sources/India/

So now the same URL is pending review in 2 different categories. How do I tell ODP to ignore my submission to the one of the 2 categories to avoid getting into any problems?

You ca'n't, really. Eventually an editor will notice the duplicate submission and delete the extra. Don't worry about it; two submissions won't get you labelled as a spammer.
