how to remove profile page

Hi,

I haven't used DMOZ for many years, but my full name is still on my profile page:

What should I do to get this page completely removed?. I was an editor for a DMOZ page many years ago but I'm not anymore.

Profile pages are never removed completely. However, if you want your real name removed from the profile, my personal opinion is that that sounds like a very reasonable request. It would have to be done by a staff member, though. I could ask about it internally if you like.

Usually we ask people to request reinstatement to change ther profile pages themself, because (as nea stated) we can't do any changes to other editors profile pages.

(Aditionally this makes it fairly sure that the person asking for the change is the editor and not a third person)

I can no longer login with my username (compie) and password.
I even requested a new password but that didn't work either.

Maybe my account is disabled?
Can someone else remove my name?

You need to request reinstatement as was mentioned earlier in the thread

When you are reinstated you can go in and edit your profile to take your name out of it and then just forget about it after that. If you no longer wish to edit just don't login for a few months and the account will be deactivated again. Hope this helps.
