Hi there,

I submitted my site about 3 months ago and wanted to make sure I submitted to the right category - is there anywhere I can check to see which category I submitted to?

thanks

There's nothing that you can personally do. If the editor for the category you submitted to reviews your site and finds it is more appropriate somewhere else, they'll submit it to the correct category for review. It will then wait for review until the editor for the new category reviews it. I hope that helps! :)

If you think there's a chance you may have suggested the site to a totally incorrect category (the cat was playing with the mouse, etc.), you may suggest the site once more (after moving giving the cat a toy mouse not connected to the computer) to the correct category, as suggestions to obviously incorrect categories are sometimes deleted, rather than moved.

However, odds are against it, even so. I believe the "official" advice (per the administrators of this site) is that you may resuggest the site, once, after at least 6 months. Sites do occasionally disappear without intentional editor action (the editor's cat was playing with the computer mouse, etc.), and sometimes sites just disappear without a trace. The odds of that happening twice, though, are astronomical.

thanks - to be honest I think I submitted to the right category (definitely sent it to real estate, but there are so many sub-categories I'm not sure if I sent it to central america where it belongs...then there are even more sub-categories for there!) - I just don't want to go back to the end of the queue if I didn't need to!

thanks again

It being Real Estate, you might want to read the Real Estate Guidelines, if you haven't done so already... (and particularly the bit about listing based on office location(s) rather than service area)
