Also note that sites that are contrived to get accepted into the ODP rarely make it - the only thing we are interested is copious quantities of original high quality information. If you have that then you should not need to optimize anything.

We don't care about SEO, we're a directory.
We don't advise people how to design their websites; that's their responsibility.
You can't 'get' a site published in ODP. All you can do is suggest that we list it.
You (and for that matter, we) can't contol the elapsed time to review.
No site is guaranteed a listing.
