Hello chcasting.
Please see the Announcement which explains that technical problems are preventing editors and non-editors alike from accessing the directory. When that Announcement changes to indicate that site suggestions can once again be made, you are very welcome to suggest yours for review by a volunteer editor. Thank you.
In the meantime it would be a good idea to read the FAQ here, and the ODP Guidelines about site suggestions. Then if you have any remaining questions about how to proceed, we will be happy to help you. :)

Sure: It's done when it is done... ;)
Unfortunately we don't know when servers are back but you'll find ALL information in the announcement at the top of every forum as soon as we have more details.

There are several stages involved. Accepting site suggestions is stage 4 or so; restoring editors' access is stage 2 -- and that hasn't happened yet.

Stinks being stuck in lingo like that. oh well, maybe next holiday season.

Sorry, I just checked but there is no stage 5 profit in the process for recovering from our technical problems. Seems you will have to take care of that yourself without DMOZ.

Suggest the site by clicking on "suggest URL" from the top right menu and then follow instructions." but is there any limit within which either the site is approved/disapproved or it can be resubmitted, especially for sites that do not have any editor right now.

There are many editors who have permissions to edit anywhere in the directory, so just because there is no listed editor does not mean a category is abandoned. Only suggest the site to one, best category. If the site fits better in some other category, an editor will move it.

As we don't delete listable site suggestions, once, ever, is usually enough. Suggesting a site to other language sections (when it has suitable content in the language concerned) is also acceptable...
