http://finance.americanexpress.com showed a message that says "The American Express web site is located at http://www.americanexpress.com " and then redirected there. I tried several times, and once ended up at http://finance.americanexpress.com/sif/cda/page/0,1641,15000,00.asp but when I tried to end up there again I ended up at americanexpress.com again, so I'm not even sure how that happened. Regardless, this site is already listed under http://www.americanexpress.com/ and will not be listed under the subsite.

American Express Financial Advisors is a separate subdomain from American Express and they have relevant content related to retirement planning:
http://finance.americanexpress.com/sif/cda/page/0,1641,14976,00.asp

Also, American Express isn't already represented in this category, so why can't be listed in this category?

I get the same problem... there's something wrong with the forwarding for the domain.

First time http://finance.americanexpress.com/sif/cda/page/0,1641,15000,00.asp, then a forwarding page to http://www.americanexpress.com

I'd suggest that you fix that first before resubmitting.

Also, American Express isn't already represented in this category, so why can't be listed in this category?

We follow a "one listing per company" rule - especially in those spammy areas. The main site will be listed in th most apropriate place, covering allnecessary content. Its useless to discuss this in another thread - read existing threads for some discussions of this topic.
