I would be really grateful if somebody could look into my submission status on the directory. I submitted my site a couple of months ago and again a week or so..If nothing else please just confirm I have correctly submitted it thanks!

I entered it into

obviously should have read

We have no record of you submitting to Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Music_and_Film/Instruments .

I think Arts: Music: Instruments: Winds: Service and Repair would be a more specific category than Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Business and Economy: Shopping: Music and Film: Instruments. (Besides the existing listing in Regional, your site might also qualify for a "topical" listing, so feel free to submit there, too.)

It's already listed in Stratford on Avon, but there is no history of it ever having been submitted to or rejected from http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Music_and_Film/Instruments/

The site has clear product descriptions and prices, but I couldn't find any obvious ordering instructions. All three of these are requirements for listing in a UK level shopping category and I suggest that you clarify this before resubmitting. Just a clear statement on how to order is fine - you don't need a shopping cart.

You'll be glad to know that the category has an active editor and that the queue there is short.

Its been a long time!...I've resubmitted my site to all the suggested ones that were in the thread but seemed to have hit the old chestnut problem on each of my IP address not being recorded etc..It says on each occassion that it has gone to a holding terminal or something..is there any chance you could see if they are sitting in there please?

P.S i've tried submitting about 5 times now but still hit the same problem each time <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" alt="" />

You should have looked in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Arts_and_Entertainment/Music/Instruments/Brass where it is also listed <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />.

That's not a problem. We take care of those. It wastes some of our time when you submit over and over again, so we don't take care of them quite as fast as we'd like to.

In such cases, don't worry, just do the usual: wait a month, try ODP search for the URL and title, and if it hasn't appeared, ask in the forums.
