http://www.alljewelryfindings.com/

Hello, and thank you for your time.

I have submitted http://www.alljewelryfindings.com/ a few weeks ago to the category:
Top: Shopping: Jewelry: Supplies: Findings

I submitted the site as follows:
Title -> All Jewelry Findings
Description -> supplies sterling silver and gold filled jewelry findings at wholesale prices

I haven't seen any trace of a site look over and I know the category doesn't have an editor at the moment.

Is there a major backlog for categories without editors? Should I resubmit to a category with an editor?

Thank you for your assistance, I really do appreciate it.

Re: site submitted to category without editor, is

It's one of two sites waiting for review in that category.

Submitting to another category will simply cause an editor to tut and move your site to the correct category, where it will wait alongside the last submission. Don't worry, someone will go through there one day.

Hi Dfy,
Thank you for the reply -- I guess I just want to make sure I do everything right. I'll take your advice and let the process happen. <img src="/images/icons/blush.gif" alt="" />

&gt;What would be my best course of action to get this site into the directory?

A very important nuance here. There is NO conceivable course of action that you could take to get this site into the directory.

What you can do is request that it be reviewed for inclusion. That's all.

And you've done that.

In the time before someone decides to volunteer to review that site, you can make sure that its navigation is clean, that all appropriate business information is correct and easy to find, that unique content is prominently featured and identified, ... these are the sort of things that make the difference between "yes, this site looks legit, I'll go ahead and list it" and "hmm, not sure about this. I'd better defer it until I can do a thorough review for the usual doorway-and-affiliate-scams."

Hello, thank you for the advice.

Can you tell me if anyone has gone in to look at it?

&gt;NO conceivable course of action
Would it be a unwise to find an appropriate category with an active editor?

We have no way of knowing that, so sorry, that's not information we have.

Yes it would, for reasons which were explained to you by dfy earlier in this thread.
