I have submitted in mid-2003 to:

Since then the web site contineously developed with many new contents. I have resubmitted in April 2004. It is likely yet not listed. Maybe someone can help. Thank you.

Thank you very much. I have studied the possible reasons word by word, still I am unable to identify the real reason. I use the affiliate marketing for hotels, but most of the sites in this section use it too.

Further, I run own marketing for apartment rentals, though it might look different because I put the processing form to another my domain. I also have a plenty of authentic contents contributed by people from Amsterdam, all these pages can be found in the sitemap (www.amsterdam.info/sitemap). We have drawn own map (www.amsterdam.info/map) I did shot hundreds of pictures to offer them for free (www.amsterdam.info/pictures).

I consult with Amsterdam municipality their policy for inclusion of sensitive issue like red light and coffeeshops. They also link me from amsterdam.nl.

Would it be possible, I would appreciate anyone please to tell me exactly what I did wrong. It is very demotivating to live with that my web site is not good enough for DMOZ. Your kind help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Alucard has provided you with the information you asked for; so it is time to move on, as far as this site is concerned.

However, if you feel that other sites in this category should not be listed because they do not meet editorial guidelines, feel free to mention them in the Abuse Reporting section, and an editor will certainly look at them.

It might be better to think of the ODP as simply having such different interests, policies, motives, and goals that there is no common interest. The web is large, and there are many sites that will happily market promotional advertising for advertising promotional marketing sites: the ODP is not one of them.
